David Santiago

Immigration Attorney

David Santiago is an immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd. Before joining the firm, he was an Associate Immigration Attorney in a law firm in South Florida. During law school, he worked for five firms as a law clerk and intern in the legal fields of Employment Immigration, Civil Rights/Human Rights, Business Formation and Intellectual Property, Personal Injury, and First Party Property.

Mr. Santiago decided to focus on immigration law because he is the child of an immigrant, so he has continuously grown to appreciate the different ethnicities and cultures that create the American mosaic in society.

David Santiago holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Florida Atlantic University. He earned his Juris Doctor in Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, and graduated with a double concentration in International Law and Intellectual Property Law.

David is very passionate about human rights, especially about bringing awareness to human trafficking in the modern world. He was an intern for a non-profit that focused on bringing awareness to victims of human trafficking called 1HTC-Human Trafficking Coalition and was part of many coalition efforts against human trafficking in South Florida.

Mr. Santiago is fluent in Spanish, and English and proficient in French, and Italian.

He is a member of the Florida, Supreme Court of Florida since September of 2021.
