Tucker Hood

Immigration Attorney

Tucker Hood is an immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd. He obtained his law degree in 2020 from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where was an Executive Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal. He is a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi State Bar Associations.

Before attending law school, Mr. Hood played soccer for two years in junior college and thereafter obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. He worked as a history teacher and high school soccer coach for two years before moving to Ovalle, Chile, where he was an English immersion teacher in a program through the Chilean Ministry of Education.

He spent substantial time travelling and working in hostels in South America before returning to the United States, where he taught high school Spanish and worked in an immigration law firm in Jackson, Mississippi.

These life experiences inspired him to attend law school, with the hope of one day becoming an immigration lawyer.

In his free time, Tucker enjoys running, gardening, playing piano and spending time with his wife and a grumpy cat. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
