Alexis Sein

Alexis Sein is an immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd, focused on employment-based petitions. Prior to joining Colombo & Hurd, Ms. Sein practiced at a corporate immigration firm where she provided legal strategy to consulting and tech-based clients. She worked on a wide array of employment-based of immigration matters, including EB-1s, H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, E-3s, H-1B1s, O-1s, RFEs, PERM-based I-140s, and PERM Labor Certification.
Ms. Sein graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature, magna cum laude, and two master’s degrees in English and American Literature and Linguistics. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. Prior to joining the legal field, Ms. Sein taught college-level ESOL courses at UTEP. It was the experience with her students on F-1 visas that inspired her to pursue a career as an immigration attorney.
Ms. Sein is a member of State Bar of Texas and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and she is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time, Ms. Sein enjoys reading, painting, and taking walks with her husband and their two dogs.
