Anabel Garcia Gonzalez specializes in Immigration and Nationality Law with experience in complex employment-based, self-sponsored, and family-based cases. Ms. Garcia has experience with several firms specializing in Business Immigration, representing a variety of individual and corporate clients in immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, including O1A, EB-1A, and EB-2 NIW. She has extensive experience representing clients in connection with Requests for Evidence (RFEs) as well as appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO). She is a member of the Florida Bar.
As an immigrant and a professional herself, Ms. Garcia understands how challenging it is for immigrants to immerse in any given professional field, facing the difficulties of the language barrier, the differences in the education system, and the complexities of the immigration system in the United States.
Ms. Garcia obtained her first Law Degree at the Universidad de La Habana in Cuba. She earned a Master’s Degree in International Law (LL.M.) and a Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) from the prestigious University of Miami School of Law. During law School, she was an intern at the UM Health Rights Clinic, where she assisted low-income clients and the elderly in immigration matters, including naturalization and adjustment of status.
She enjoys cooking, the beach, and outdoor activities with her family, friends, and her puppy. She also loves all kinds of music and dancing salsa.
