Hugo Rojas is an attorney at Colombo & Hurd, specializing in immigration law. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association with 16 years of experience in non-immigrant visas, PERM petitions, national interest waivers, workplace compliance, family-based petitions, and consular processing.
Before becoming an immigration attorney, Mr. Rojas worked as a community organizer and lobbyist, collaborating closely with numerous attorneys, which inspired him to attend law school. His decision to specialize in immigration law was influenced by his personal experience as an immigrant. As a child, his family moved to Argentina and later returned to the US during his high school years, giving him firsthand insight into the complexities of navigating bureaucracy and adapting to a new country.
Hugo Rojas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Mr. Rojas is fluent in English and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports such as soccer and road cycling.
