Mandy Nease

Mandy Nease is a Senior Immigration Attorney and Director of Professional Development with Colombo & Hurd. She leads the firm’s CH University corporate education platform, which equips executives, employees, and HR teams with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the U.S. immigration process. Ms. Nease designs and delivers role-specific training programs, including mock consular interviews, port-of-entry briefings, and workshops on compliance and visa strategy. Her focus is on translating complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance that prepares organizations and their employees for success.

Prior to joining Colombo & Hurd, Ms. Nease spent 13 years at United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), adjudicating a wide range of immigrant benefit applications including EB-2 National Interest Waivers (I-140), labor certifications, Schedule A, I-485 Adjustment of Status (employment- and asylum-based), I-130 family-based petitions, I-90 replacement and renewal applications, and TPS. During her tenure, she also served as a mentor to USCIS officers, developing tools and training methods that helped officers improve decision-making and gain confidence without formal legal training.

At Colombo & Hurd, Ms. Nease’s legal practice focuses on I-140 Extraordinary Ability and National Interest Waiver petitions, O-1 Extraordinary Ability Non-immigrant petitions, and strategic corporate education initiatives. She continues to apply her government background to provide clients with insight into adjudicator perspectives, while building tailored training resources that strengthen compliance and reduce risk.
