Marina Renom

Ms. Renom is an Immigration Attorney at Colombo & Hurd. As an immigrant from Argentina, she brings many years of firsthand experience navigating the U.S. immigration system. Ms. Renom has helped international companies, professionals, and investors through a wide range of U.S. immigration matters, taking the time to understand their goals and help them reach their full potential in the United States.

During law school, Ms. Renom served as President of the Family Law Society, Philanthropy Chair of the Women's Law Society, and Secretary of the Society of Immigrant Advocates. She also volunteered at the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, working on immigration and dependency cases under the supervision of licensed attorneys. Upon graduation, Ms. Renom was honored with an Excellence in Civic Engagement Medallion of Distinction for her work at the FIU Clinics.

Ms. Renom also gained hands-on experience at two prestigious immigration law firms, where she researched and drafted briefs across a broad range of immigration cases, including asylum, VAWA, U visas, waivers, cancellation of removal, family petitions, and employment-based visas. She also helped prepare clients for immigration court hearings, USCIS interviews, and ICE check-ins.

After earning her Juris Doctor, Ms. Renom worked as a Business Immigration Attorney with a focus on EB-1, EB-2, Labor Certifications, O-1, L-1, and E-2 visas. She has also represented clients in civil litigation in the areas of finance, real estate, and contract disputes.
