Diego Menendez
Immigration Attorney
Diego Menendez is an immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd with extensive experience guiding clients through consular processing for both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. He has managed thousands of cases from start to finish, including USCIS filings, National Visa Center (NVC) coordination, and consular interviews abroad. Mr. Menendez frequently prepares clients for interviews, troubleshoots complex issues at the Department of State, and ensures that cases move efficiently across all stages of the immigration process.
His practice spans the full spectrum of employment-based categories—EB-1, EB-2 NIW, O-1, H-1B, TN, and PERM—as well as family-based and investor visas. He also has deep experience overseeing high-volume RFE and appeal programs, helping clients secure approvals in challenging cases.
Before joining Colombo & Hurd, Mr. Menendez was awarded an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellowship to represent low-income immigrant communities in Southern California. In that role, he specialized in removal defense and humanitarian relief for survivors of trafficking and domestic violence. He has also published on domestic violence survivors’ eligibility for T-Visa relief in The Orange County Lawyer.
Fluent in Spanish and French, Mr. Menendez is committed to supporting immigrants of all backgrounds by guiding them through the complexities of the immigration system with professionalism and care.
