Diego Menendez is an immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd focusing in employment-based petitions. Mr. Menendez holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in history and political science from Swarthmore College. He is a member of the California State Bar.

Before joining Colombo & Hurd, Diego Menendez practiced at a corporate immigration firm where he worked on a wide array of employment-based petitions, including EB-1s, O-1s, H-1Bs, TNs, and PERM. In this role, he managed clients’ complex RFE and Appeal programs too.

Mr. Menendez’s motivation to practice immigration law is to support immigrants of all backgrounds to successfully immigrate to the U.S. by guiding them through the oftentimes labyrinthine immigration process.

Diego Menendez was awarded an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellowship to serve low-income immigrant communities in Southern California, specializing in removal defense and humanitarian petitions for trafficking and domestic violence survivors. He has published work for The Orange County Lawyer magazine regarding domestic violence survivors’ eligibility for T-Visa relief.

Diego Menendez is fluent in Spanish and French. In his free time, he enjoys studying history and kayaking in the Florida Everglades.
