With close to 20 years of experience in high-volume legal practice, Hugo Rojas is a seasoned immigration attorney specializing in business immigration and international workforce mobility management. Prior to joining Colombo & Hurd, Hugo worked as an expert advisor to Fortune 500 companies at one of the largest immigration law firms in the US, where he guided clients through the complexities of US immigration law and provided strategic solutions tailored to corporate needs in the technology, manufacturing, and academic sectors among others.
Hugo specializes in securing employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas, including National Interest Waivers, PERM Labor Certifications, EB1, E-2, E-3, H-1B and L visas. With extensive experience in compliances, he also develops and implements I-9 and nonimmigrant visa compliance programs and manages corporate defenses in audits conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor and Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other government agencies.
In addition to his legal expertise, Hugo is fully professionally fluent in Spanish and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
