Prior to joining Colombo & Hurd, Ms. Nease spent 13 years at United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), adjudicating a wide range of immigrant benefit applications including EB-2 National Interest Waivers (I-140), labor certifications, Schedule A, I-485 Adjustment of Status (employment- and asylum-based), I-130 family-based petitions, I-90 replacement and renewal applications, and TPS. During her tenure, she also served as a mentor to USCIS officers, developing tools and training methods that helped officers improve decision-making and gain confidence without formal legal training.
