Roshn Vazhel

Roshn Vazhel is an experienced immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd with an exceptional track record of securing approvals for his clients over the years. He is a member of the Illinois Bar Association. With a focus on employment-based immigration, Mr. Vazhel has a wealth of experience across various categories, including EB-2 NIW, EB-1A, EB-1B, and O-1 visas. He specializes in handling challenges such as Requests for Evidence (RFEs), appeals, and I-140 petitions, particularly for clients facing denials or unique backgrounds. Additionally, he has experience in handling discovery for multi-district antitrust litigation, while also serving as a managing attorney for several large-scale discovery projects.

Mr. Vazhel holds two Bachelor’s Degrees: one in Political Science and another in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign (UIUC).

Driven by his personal connection to immigration, Roshn Vazhel chose to specialize in immigration law. As the child of immigrants, he intimately understands the struggles his parents, extended family, and friends faced, and he wishes to help others get through this confusing and complicated process. He finds it rewarding to help the United States get bright and talented individuals at the forefront of their fields through the EB-1A and EB-2 NIW visas.

Beyond his legal accomplishments, Roshn Vazhel enjoys exploring the world, in his free time he goes on road trips with his wife. He also enjoys archery, hiking, nature, history and hanging out with friends. He’s proud of completing the Chicago Half Marathon—proof of his determination and discipline.
