Yadira Aguilar

Senior Attorney

Yadira Aguilar is a Senior Immigration Attorney at Colombo & Hurd, where her practice centers on employment-based petitions, with a particular emphasis on EB-2 National Interest Waivers (NIWs) for high-skilled professionals seeking lawful permanent residency. She also represents clients in family-based petitions, citizenship and naturalization applications, and non-immigrant visa matters, including student and visitor visas.

Ms. Aguilar came to immigration law through lived experience. Born in Mexico, she immigrated to the United States during her secondary school years, navigating a new culture, country, and language firsthand. That experience informs how she connects with clients and how she approaches the complexities of each case.

Before entering law, Ms. Aguilar spent over a decade in public service with the Orange County Government in Orlando, Florida, a background that shaped her commitment to consistent, client-focused work.
