2019 EB-5 Regulatory Revisions: Immigration Options For US Investors
Carlos M. Colombo, one of America’s top Immigration Attorneys specializing in the filing of EB-5 Visas and other employment and investment based visas, will be speaking to inform potential investors, developers, realtors, attorneys and those affected by this change about US Immigration options in the wake of the recent announcement increasing the minimum investment threshold for an EB-5 Visa from $500,000 to $900,000 for targeted employment areas (TEAs) and up to $1.8 million for all other investments effective November 21, 2019.
The EB-5 Visa allows foreign investors and their immediate family members to obtain a green card in the US through an investment among other requirements. On July 24th, DHS announced the upcoming increase along with many other changes to the EB-5 program. Mr. Colombo, who has successfully filed hundreds of EB-5 Visas for clients in over two decades of legal experience, expressed that it was important for potential EB-5 investors to understand the changes as quickly as possible in order to have the best opportunity to file a successful application. Mr. Colombo will be presenting concerning the options remaining with the EB-5 Visa both prior and subsequent to the November 21, 2019 deadline as well as other paths to residency in the US including the EB-2 National Interest Waiver, the EB-1 and other considerations in 2019.
Attendees can expect a complete overview of the EB-5 program and process in light of the pending changes. Attendees will also be provided with information concerning other options for foreign nationals outside of the EB-5 Visa.
